Holy cow! Sky has turned an eerie color, wind gusts are rocking the motor home, trees are swaying.....make that jerking!.....in the wind! Are we about to go find Oz? I am going to find my red shoes!!

  1. So good to be back on the blog. These are great stories. Love the horses. Jim & Barbara are moved in. Barbara sold her house. Will close in July. Happy Father's Day.

  3. Jan is now sitting in the backyard at the beach house watching Joe snooze in his favorite spot.
I've just settled in for a couple of days tripping to catch up on. You're moving too quickly now since you've hit the wide open country. I love those trees! Have seen one in Windsor Livks, CT

  4. So nice to have you back! We are moving more quickly through the open country, but Colorado is full of things to see, and we are having a hard time deciding! May even delay a day here, but the southern portion will have to wait for another trip!

  5. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY, Clem.
WOW!!! I just finished catching up with you two. You have traveled far and brought me to places I will never see, loved it. You have a lot of stamina with all that driving and WALKING the tours. The roads sound scary to me, ugh on those narrow, steep downgrades.
Nice having a sister and family to visit enroute. That was something those kids will never forget, seeing you come on the big rig......having fun and feast with them. FANTASTIC.
I don't suppose you got to watch much of the U.S. Open. I taped and watched all weekend.....couldn't believe Jim Furyk didn't win after 'hanging' in the lead for 2 days.
Joe had a good Father's Day. We went to the beach and I took him to dinner Friday night, our son Tim and his family came on Sat and cooked a Father's Day supper for us and Joe's brother. Yesterday after Mass, his brother Frank took us to a great restaurant (I had a squash flower with goat cheese filling omelet.....so-o-o-o good). Then we drove to our daughter Kelly's in Avon for a great steak cookout with her daughters, husbands, and beau.
Today we're taking our friend (80th birthday) to lunch with 'her friend'. All we're doing is EATING lately, yikes!!!!
I'll be with you......safe and blessed journeying. xxxooo
